Command the children of Israel, and you shall say to them, You are entering into the land of Canaan: it shall be to you for an inheritance, the land of Canaan with its boundaries.

Whenever you shall enter into the land of the Canaanites, which I give you for a possession, and I shall put the plague of leprosy in the houses of the land of your possession;

Speak to the children of Israel, and you shall say to them, When you come into the land which I give to you, then the land shall rest, to keep its Sabbaths to the Lord.

For as yet you have not arrived at the rest and the inheritance, which the Lord our God gives you.

And when the Lord your God shall have destroyed the nations, which God gives you, [even] the land, and you shall inherit them, and dwell in their cities, and in their houses,

you shall separate for yourself three cities in the midst of your land, which the Lord your God gives you.
