The wilderness and Lebanon, as far as the great river, the River Euphrates, and as far as the extremity of the sea; your coasts shall be from the setting of the sun.

And when the kings of the Amorites on the other side of the Jordan, who were in the mountain country, and in the plain, and in all the coast of the great sea, and those who were near Lebanon, and the Hittites, the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, the Amorites, the Girgashites, and the Jebusites, heard [of it,]

These [are] the borders of the children of Judah round about according to their families.

Ashdod, and her villages, and her hamlets: Gaza, and its villages and its hamlets as far as the river of Egypt, and the Great Sea is the boundary.

See, that I have given to you these nations that are left to you by lots to your tribes, all the nations beginning at the Jordan; and [some] I have destroyed; and the boundaries shall be at the Great Sea westward.

And fishermen shall stand there from En Gedi to En Eglaim; it shall be a place to spread out nets upon; it shall be distinct; and its fish [shall be] as the fish of the great sea, a very great multitude.

And these are the borders of the land that lies northward, from the Great Sea that comes down, and divides the entrance of Emaseldam;

This part of the great sea forms a border, till [one comes] opposite the entrance of Hamath, [even] as far as the entrance thereof. These are the parts west of Hamath.
