And you shall give [them] to Eleazar the priest [as] the firstfruits of the Lord.
30
And from the half belonging to the children of Israel you shall take one in fifty from the men, and from the oxen, and from the sheep, and from the donkeys, and from all the cattle; and you shall give them to the Levites that keep the charges in the tabernacle of the Lord.
31
And Moses and Eleazar the priest did as the Lord commanded Moses.

Therefore, if perfection were through the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people have received the law), why is there yet a need [for] another priest to rise, according to the order of Melchizedek, and not to be called according to the order of Aaron?

For the priesthood being changed, of necessity there occurs a change of law also.
