And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up them and Korah, when their assembly perished, when the fire devoured the two hundred and fifty, and they were made a sign.

But the sons of Korah died not.

Our father died in the wilderness, and he was not in the midst of the congregation that rebelled against the Lord in the gathering of Korah; for he died for his own sin, and he had no sons. The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan, and closed upon the congregation of Abiram.

And a fire was kindled in their congregation, and a flame burned up the sinners.
