Speak to the sons of Israel, and you shall say to them, When you are entering into the land, into which I bring you,

Whenever you shall enter into the land of the Canaanites, which I give you for a possession, and I shall put the plague of leprosy in the houses of the land of your possession;

Speak to the children of Israel, and you shall say to them, When you shall enter into the land which I give you, and reap the harvest of it, then shall you bring a sheaf, the firstfruits of your harvest, to the priest;

Speak to the children of Israel, and you shall say to them, When you come into the land which I give to you, then the land shall rest, to keep its Sabbaths to the Lord.

And when the Lord your God shall bring you into the land into which you go, to possess it, and shall remove great nations from before you, the Hittite, the Girgashite, the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, seven nations [more] numerous and stronger than you,

and the Lord your God shall deliver them into your hands, then you shall smite them; you shall utterly destroy them: you shall not make a covenant with them, neither shall you pity them;

And these [are] the ordinances and the judgments, which you shall observe to do in the land, which the Lord God of your fathers gives you for an inheritance, all the days which you live upon the land.

For as yet you have not arrived at the rest and the inheritance, which the Lord our God gives you.
