which their possessors have slain, and have not repented: and they that sold them said, Blessed be the Lord; for we have become rich: and their shepherds have suffered no sorrow for them.

And after a time there shall be in it no green thing because of [the grass] being parched. Come here, you woman that comes from a sight; for it is a people of no understanding; therefore He that made them shall have no pity upon them, and He that formed them shall have no mercy [upon them].

Therefore will I deal with them in wrath: My eye shall not spare, nor will I have any mercy.

Therefore My eye shall not spare, neither will I have any mercy: I have recompensed their ways upon their heads.

And she conceived again, and bore a daughter. And He said to him, Call her name, Unpitied: for I will no more have mercy on the house of Israel, but will surely set Myself in array against them.

Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, as I also had compassion on you?'

Thus also My heavenly Father will do to you, if you do not forgive each [one] his brother their trespasses, from your hearts."

And when that king heard, he was furious. And he sent out his troops, and he destroyed those murderers, and he burned up their city.

so that on you may come all the righteous blood being shed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah, son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar.

"O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, [you] who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often would I have gathered your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing!

For days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment around you, surround you and hem you in from every side,

and they will level you to the ground, and your children with you; and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not know the season of your visitation."

For these are the days of vengeance, to fulfill all that has been written.

And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

forbidding us from speaking to the Gentiles so that they may be saved, so as always to fill up [the measure of] their sins; but the wrath [of God] has come upon them to the uttermost.

For if we sin willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,

Anyone disregarding the law of Moses dies without compassions on [the testimony of] two or three witnesses.

For we know Him who said, "Vengeance is Mine; I will repay," says the Lord. And again, "The LORD will judge His people."

For judgment is without mercy to the one who does not show mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

And I said, I will not tend you: that which dies, let it die; and that which falls off, let it fall off; and let the rest eat the flesh of his neighbor.

And I cast away my second rod, even Line, that I might break the possession between Judah and Israel.

For before those days the wages of men could not be profitable, and there could be no hire of cattle, and there could be no peace by reason of the affliction to him that went out or to him that came in, for I would have let loose all men, everyone against his neighbor.

And the people shall fall, man upon man, and [every] man upon his neighbor; the child shall insult the elder man, and the base [toward] the honorable.

The whole earth is set on fire because of the fierce anger of the Lord, and the people shall be as men burned by fire; no man shall pity his brother.

For Manasseh shall eat [the flesh] of Ephraim, and Ephraim [the flesh] of Manasseh; for they shall besiege Judah together. For all this [His] anger is not turned away, but [His] hand is yet exalted.

And I will scatter them, a man and his brother, and their fathers and their sons together. I will not have compassion, says the Lord, and I will not spare, neither will I pity [to save them] from destruction.

For the godly has perished from the earth; and there is none upright among men: they all quarrel even to blood: they grievously afflict everyone his neighbor.

therefore I will take away their goods as a devouring moth, and as one who acts by a [rigid] rule in a day of visitation. Woe, woe, your times of vengeance have come; now shall be their lamentations.

For the son dishonors his father, the daughter will rise up against her mother, the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law: those in his house [shall be] all a man's enemies.

[ 2:23] and I will overthrow the thrones of kings, and I will destroy the power of the kings of the nations; and I will overthrow chariots and riders; and the horses and their riders shall come down, everyone by the sword striving against his brother.

Now brother will hand over brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents, and put them to death.

"Do not suppose that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.

and 'a man's enemies [will be] his own household members.'

And then many will fall away, and they will betray one another, and they will hate one another.

For from now on five in one house will be divided: three against two, and two against three.

Father will be divided against a son and a son against father, a mother against a daughter and a daughter against a mother, a mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law."

You will be betrayed even by parents and relatives, friends and brothers; and they will put [some] of you to death.

And you will be hated by all [people] for My name's sake.

And after the sixty-two weeks, the Anointed One shall be killed, and there is no judgment in Him. And He shall destroy the city and the sanctuary with the prince that is to come: they shall be cut off with a flood, and to the end of the war which is rapidly completed He shall appoint [the city] to desolations.

And one week shall establish the covenant with many. And in the midst of the week my sacrifice and drink offering shall be taken away: and on the temple [shall be] the abomination of desolations; and at the end of the time an end shall be put to the desolation.

And when that king heard, he was furious. And he sent out his troops, and he destroyed those murderers, and he burned up their city.

But they cried out, "Away [with Him], away [with Him]! Crucify Him!" Pilate said to them, "Shall I crucify your King?" The chief priests answered, "We have no king but Caesar!"

who shall turn again the heart of the father to the son, and the heart of a man to his neighbor, lest I come and smite the earth grievously.

Now consider these things, all you that forget God, lest He tear [you], and there be none to deliver.

And now I will expose her uncleanness before her lovers, and no one shall by any means deliver her out of My hand.

And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many nations, as a lion in the forest among cattle, and as a lion's whelp among the flocks of sheep, even as when he goes through, and selects, and carries off [his prey], and there is none to deliver.

You shall eat, and shall not be satisfied; and there shall be darkness upon you; and he shall depart from you, and you shall not escape; and all that shall escape shall be delivered over to the sword.

how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which in the beginning was spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard [Him],

For if we sin willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,

but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery zeal being about to devour the adversaries.
