The Lord Almighty shall protect them, and they shall destroy them, and overwhelm them with slingstones; and they shall swallow them down as wine, and fill the bowls as the altar.

For if He has anything good, and if He has anything fair, the young men shall have grain, and there shall be fragrant wine to the virgins.

And they took their portions from him to themselves; but Benjamin's portion was five times as much as the portions of [the others]. And they drank and were merry with him.

and wine makes glad the heart of man, to make his face cheerful with oil; and bread strengthens man's heart.

Give strong drink to those that are in sorrow, and the wine to drink to those in pain,

that they may forget their poverty, and may not remember their troubles anymore.

Others were mocking and saying, "They are full of new wine."

"For these are not drunk, as you suppose, for it is just the third hour of the day.

"And it shall be in the last days", says God, "that I will pour from My Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy; and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams;"

And do not get drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit,

speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord,

For I know that he will order his sons, and his house after him, and they will keep the ways of the Lord, to do justice and judgment, that the Lord may bring upon Abraham all things whatsoever He has spoken to him.

And look upon Your servants, and upon Your works; and guide their children.

The children of Your servants shall dwell [securely], and their seed shall prosper forever.

The living shall bless You, as I also [do]; for from this day shall I beget children, who shall declare Your righteousness,

And I will give them another way, and another heart, to fear Me continually, and [that] for good to them and their children after them.

"For the promise is for you and for your children, and for all those afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call."

that God has fulfilled this promise for us to their children, when He raised up Jesus, as it is also written in the second Psalm: 'You are My Son, today I have begotten You.'

My heart is established in the Lord, my horn is exalted in my God; my mouth is enlarged over my enemies, I have rejoiced in Your salvation.

But I have hoped in Your mercy; my heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.

The Lord is my helper and my defender; my heart has hoped in Him, and I am helped; my flesh has revived, and willingly will I give praise to Him.

And you shall see, and your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall thrive like grass; and the hand of the Lord shall be known to them that fear Him, and He shall threaten the disobedient.

yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in God my Savior.

Rejoice, O daughter of Zion; cry aloud, O daughter of Jerusalem; rejoice and delight yourself with all your heart, O daughter of Jerusalem.

and my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior.

Therefore you also now have sorrow; but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you.

Therefore my heart was glad, and my tongue rejoiced; moreover my flesh also will dwell in hope.

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!

Whom not having seen, you love, in whom now not seeing, but believing, you rejoice with inexpressible joy and glorified,
