And the Lord passed by before his face, and proclaimed, The Lord God, gracious and merciful, longsuffering and very compassionate, and true,

and keeping justice and mercy for thousands, taking away iniquity and unrighteousness and sins; and He will not clear the guilty; bringing the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and to the children's children, to the third and fourth generation.

and refused to listen, and remembered not Your wonders which You worked among them. And they hardened their neck, and appointed a leader to return to their slavery in Egypt. But You, O God, [are] merciful and compassionate, long-suffering, and abundant in mercy, and You did not forsake them.

The Lord is compassionate and gracious, longsuffering, and full of mercy.

The Lord is compassionate, and merciful; long suffering, and abundant in mercy.

and tear your hearts, and not your garments, and turn to the Lord your God: for He is merciful and compassionate, long suffering, and plenteous in mercy, and relenting of evil.

And he prayed to the Lord, and said, O Lord, were not these my words when I was yet in my land? Therefore I made haste to flee to Tarshish; because I knew that You are merciful and compassionate, long suffering, and abundant in kindness, and relent of [bringing about] evil.

So then, my beloved brothers, let every man be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger;

For He is wise in mind, and mighty, and great: who has hardened himself against Him and endured?

God has spoken once, [and] I have heard these two things, that power is of God;

Say unto God, How awesome are Your works! Through the greatness of Your power Your enemies shall submit themselves to You.

Great is our Lord, and great is His strength; and His understanding is infinite.

and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power

which He worked in Christ, having raised Him from the dead, and seated [Him] at His right hand in the heavenlies,

The Lord [is] longsuffering and merciful, and true, removing transgressions and iniquities and sins, and He shall by no means clear the guilty, visiting the sins of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generation.

And if I should sin, You watch me, and You have not cleared me from iniquity.

And it came to pass on the third day, as the morning drew nigh, there were voices and lightnings and a dark cloud on Mount Sinai. The voice of the trumpet sounded loud, and all the people in the camp trembled.

Now Mount Sinai was altogether in smoke, because God had descended upon it in fire; and the smoke went up like the smoke of a furnace, and the people were exceedingly amazed.

These words the Lord spoke to all the assembly of you in the mountain out of the midst of the fire- [there was] darkness, blackness, a storm, [and] a loud voice- and He added no more, and He wrote them on two tablets of stone, and He gave them to me.

and you said, Behold, the Lord our God has shown us His glory, and we have heard His voice out of the midst of the fire: this day we have seen that God shall speak to man, and he shall live.

And He said, You shall go forth tomorrow, and shall stand before the Lord in the mount; behold, the Lord will pass by. And behold, a great [and] strong wind tore into the mountains, and crushed the rocks before the Lord; [but] the Lord [was] not in the wind. And after the wind [there was] an earthquake; [but] the Lord [was] not in the earthquake.

And it came to pass when Elijah heard, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went forth and stood in the cave. And behold, a voice [came] to him and said, What are you [doing] here, Elijah?

And after Elihu had ceased from speaking, the Lord spoke to Job through the whirlwind and clouds, [saying],

Then the earth shook and quaked, and the foundations of the mountains were disturbed, and were shaken, because God was angry with them.

And He bowed the heaven, and came down: and thick darkness was under His feet.

And He made darkness His secret place; round about Him was His tabernacle, [even] dark water in the clouds of the air.

The Lord also thundered from heaven, and the Most High uttered His voice.

And the springs of waters appeared, and the foundations of the world were exposed, at Your rebuke, O Lord, at the blasting of the breath of Your wrath.

God, our God, shall come manifestly, and shall not keep silent; a fire shall be kindled before Him, and round about Him there shall be a very great tempest.

Clouds and darkness are round about Him; righteousness and judgment are the establishment of His throne.

His lightnings light the world; the earth saw, and trembled.

Who covers His chambers with waters; who makes the clouds His chariot; who walks on the wings of the wind.

The vision of Egypt. Behold, the Lord sits on a swift cloud, and shall come to Egypt. And the idols of Egypt shall be moved at His presence, and their hearts shall faint within them.

For behold, the Lord will come as fire, and His chariots as a storm, to render His vengeance with wrath, and His rebuke with a flame of fire.

I beheld in the night vision, and behold, [One] like the Son of Man coming with the clouds of heaven, and He came to the Ancient of Days, and was brought near to Him.

Before His face shall go a report, and it shall go forth into the plains,

Because of troubles I looked upon the tents of the Ethiopians: the tabernacles also of the land of Midian shall be dismayed.

Surely you bent your bow at scepters, says the Lord. Pause. The land of rivers shall be torn asunder.

The sun was exalted, and the moon stood still in her course: Your darts shall go forth at the light, at the brightness of the gleaming of Your spear.

You went forth for the salvation of Your people, to save Your anointed: You shall bring death on the heads of transgressors; You have brought bands upon their neck. Pause.

And You caused Your horses to enter the sea, disturbing much water.

And the Lord shall be over them, and His arrow shall go forth as lightning: and the Lord Almighty shall blow with the trumpet; and shall proceed with the tumult of His threatening.

Jesus said to him, "You said [it]. Nevertheless, I say to you, from now [on], you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven."

Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, and those who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will wail because of Him. Even so, Amen!.
