for I am full of words, for the spirit within me destroys me.

and the Spirit of God shall rest upon Him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and strength, the spirit of knowledge and godliness shall fill Him;

the spirit of the fear of God. He shall not judge according to appearance, nor reprove according to report;

Cry aloud, and spare not; lift up your voice as with a trumpet, and declare to My people their sins, and to the house of Jacob their iniquities.

Behold, I have made you this day as a strong city, and as a bronze wall, strong [against] all the kings of Judah and its princes, and the people of the land.

And I allowed My wrath to come to full, yet I kept [it] in, and did not utterly destroy them. I will pour it out on the children outside, and on the assembly of young men together; for man and woman shall be taken together, the old man with him that is full of days.

Therefore thus says the Lord: If you will return, then will I restore you, and you shall stand before My face. And if you will bring forth the precious from the worthless, you shall be as My mouth; and they shall return to you; but you shall not return to them.

For I am with you, to save you, and to deliver you out of the hand of wicked [men]; and I will ransom you out of the hand of pestilent [men].

Then I said, I will by no means name the name of the Lord, and I will no longer speak in His name. But it was a burning fire flaming in my bones, and I am utterly weakened on all sides, and cannot bear [up].

And the Spirit lifted me, and took me up, and I went in the impulse of my spirit; and the hand of the Lord was mighty upon me.

for He taught them as one having authority, and not like the scribes.

James the son of Zebedee and John the brother of James, He gave them the names Boanerges, which is, "Sons of Thunder";

Then Peter, having been filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, "Rulers of the people and elders of Israel:

let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by this [name] this [man] stands here before you whole.

Nor is there salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven which has been given among men by which we must be saved."

Now hearing these things they were infuriated in their hearts, and were gnashing their teeth against him.

and he said, "Behold! I see the heavens opened, and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!"

But Saul, who also is [called] Paul, was filled with the Holy Spirit, and gazing intently at him,

And now behold, the hand of the Lord is upon you, and you shall be blind, not seeing the sun for a season." And immediately a mistiness and darkness fell upon him, and going about, he sought someone to lead him by the hand.

Now when both Silas and Timothy came down from Macedonia, Paul was compelled by the Spirit, solemnly bearing witness to the Jews that Jesus is the Christ.

But because they were opposing and blaspheming, he shook off his clothes and said to them, "Your blood [be] on your [own] heads; I am clean. From now on I will go to the Gentiles."

Now the Lord spoke to Paul by a vision in the night, "Fear not, but speak, and do not keep silent;

And he settled [there] a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.

And my message and my preaching [were] not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,

Now we did not receive the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God, in order that we might know the things granted to us by God;

which things we also speak, not in words taught in human wisdom, but in words taught by the Holy Spirit, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

Cry aloud, and spare not; lift up your voice as with a trumpet, and declare to My people their sins, and to the house of Jacob their iniquities.

Son of man, testify to Jerusalem [of] her iniquities;

Shall I utterly take vengeance on them, son of man? Testify to them of the iniquities of their fathers,

And you, son of man, will you judge the bloody city? Yea, declare to her all her iniquities.

And you, son of man, show the house to the house of Israel, that they may cease from their sins; and [show] its aspect and the arrangement of it.

But seeing many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, "Brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath?

and do not think to say among yourselves, 'We have Abraham as our father.' For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham out of these stones.

I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit,

"You stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears! You always resist the Holy Spirit; as your fathers did, you also do.

Which of the prophets did your fathers not persecute? And they killed those who foretold about the coming of the Righteous One, of whom you have now become betrayers and murderers,
