Who makes Pleias, and Hesperus, and Arcturus, and the chambers of the south.

And do you understand the band of Pleiades, and have you opened the barrier of Orion?

Or will you reveal Mazuroth in his season, and the evening star with his rays? Will you guide them?

Revealing deep things out of darkness: and He has brought into light the shadow of death.

Or did I order the morning light in your time; and did the morning star [then first] see his appointed place;

to lay hold of the extremities of the earth, to cast out the ungodly out of it?

[even] them that sit in darkness and the shadow of death, fettered in poverty and irons;

So their heart was brought low with troubles; they were weak, and there was no helper.

And He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and broke their chains in pieces.

the people sitting in darkness have seen a great light, and to those who sat in the land and the shadow of death, light sprang up on them."

to give light to them that sit in darkness and [in] the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace."

For behold, I am He that strengthens the thunder, and creates the wind, and proclaims His Messiah unto men, forming the morning and the darkness, and mounting on the high places of the earth; The Lord God Almighty is His name.

And it shall come to pass in that day, says the Lord God, that the sun shall go down at noon, and the light shall be darkened on the earth by day;

And the Lord said to Moses, Stretch out your hand toward heaven, and let there be darkness over the land of Egypt- darkness that may be felt.

[It is He] that builds His ascent up to the sky, and establishes His promise on the earth; who calls the water of the sea, and pours it out on the face of the earth; the Lord Almighty is His name.

In the six hundredth year of the life of Noah, in the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, on this day all the fountains of the abyss were broken up, and the flood gates of heaven were opened.

On that very day entered Noah, Shem, Ham, Japheth, the sons of Noah, and the wife of Noah, and the three wives of his sons with him into the ark.

went in to Noah into the ark, pairs, male and female of all flesh in which is the breath of life.

And the flood was upon the earth forty days and forty nights, and the water abounded greatly and bore up the ark, and it was lifted on high from off the earth.

And the water prevailed exceedingly upon the earth, and covered all the high mountains which were under heaven.

And the servant went again seven times. And it came to pass at the seventh time, that behold, a little cloud like the sole of a man's foot brought water; and he said, Go up, and say to Ahab, make ready your chariot, and go down, lest the rain overtake you.

And it came to pass in the meanwhile, that the heavens grew black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And Ahab wept, and went to Jezreel.

this has been appointed by Him on the earth, whether for correction, or for His land, or if He shall find him [an object] for mercy.

And will you call a cloud by your voice, and will it obey you with a violent shower of much rain?
