and that they should sound with trumpets in all their cities, and in Jerusalem. And Ezra said, Go forth to the mountain, and bring olive branches, and branches of cypress trees, and branches of myrtle, and branches of palm trees, and branches of [every] thick tree, to make booths, according to that which was written.

And a very large crowd spread their clothes on the road; but others were cutting down branches from the trees and were spreading [them] on the road.

The righteous shall flourish as a palmtree; he shall be increased as the cedar in Lebanon.

took the branches of the palm trees and went out to meet Him, and they were crying out, "Hosanna! 'Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!' The King of Israel!"

After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no man could number, out of every nation, and [from] tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, having been clothed in long white robes, with palm branches in their hands.

And you shall rejoice in your feast, you, and your son, and your daughter, your male servant, and your female servant, and the Levite, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow that is in your cities.

Seven days shall you keep a feast to the Lord your God in the place which the Lord your God shall choose for Himself; and if the Lord your God shall bless you in all your fruits, and in every work of your hands, then you shall rejoice.

and shall return, and come to Zion with joy, and everlasting joy [shall be] over their head; for on their head [shall be] praise and exaltation, and joy shall take possession of them; sorrow and pain, and groaning have fled away.

Rejoice, O Jerusalem, and all you that love her hold in her a general assembly; rejoice greatly with her, all that [now] mourn over her;

Therefore you also now have sorrow; but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you.

And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom now we received the reconciliation.

For we are the [true] circumcision, worshipping by the Spirit of God, rejoicing in Christ Jesus, and having no confidence in the flesh,

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!

Whom not having seen, you love, in whom now not seeing, but believing, you rejoice with inexpressible joy and glorified,
