And Jacob awakened out of his sleep, and said, The Lord is in this place, and I knew it not.

And Jacob called the name of that place Peniel; for, [he said], I have seen God face to face, and my life was preserved.

And God said again to Moses, Thus shall you say to the sons of Israel: The Lord God of our fathers, the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you: this is My name forever, and My memorial to all generations.

O Lord, Your name [endures] forever, and Your memorial to all generations.

I am the Lord God; that is My name; I will not give My glory to another, nor My praises to graven images.
