And if you pass through water, I am with you; and the rivers shall not overflow you; and if you go through the fire, you shall not be burned; the flame shall not burn you.

For He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler, from [every] troublesome matter.

You shall not be afraid of terror by night; nor of the arrow flying by day;

A thousand shall fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you.

For You, O Lord, are my hope; You, my soul, have made the Most High your refuge.

they shall pick up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it shall by no means hurt them; they shall lay hands on [the] sick, and they shall be well."

Then, having shaken off the creature into the fire, he suffered nothing harmful.

And who is he that shall injure you if you become imitators of that which is good?

But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we [will] not serve your gods, neither [will we] worship the image which you have set up.

And King Nebuchadnezzar answered and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, [and] Abed-Nego, who has sent His angel, and delivered His servants, because they trusted in Him; and they have changed the king's word, and delivered their bodies to be burned, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.

And it came to pass one day, that behold, the angels of God came to stand before the Lord, and the devil came with them.

When the stars were made, all My angels praised Me with a loud voice.

The angel of the Lord will encamp round about them that fear Him, and will deliver them.

Who has gone up to heaven, and come down? Who has gathered the winds in His bosom? Who has wrapped up the waters in a garment? Who has dominion of all the ends of the earth? What is His name? Or what is the name of His children?

And the angel answered and said to her, "The Holy Spirit shall come upon you, and the power of the Most High shall overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy Baby which is to be born shall be called the Son of God.

The Jews answered him, "We have a law, and according to our law He ought to die, because He made Himself the Son of God."

Therefore, when Pilate heard this saying, he was [even] more afraid,

who was declared Son of God with power according to the Spirit of holiness by the resurrection of [the] dead, Jesus Christ our Lord,
