For he had dominion on this side of the river, and he was at peace on all sides round about.

Artaxerxes, king of kings, to Ezra, the scribe of the law of the Lord God of heaven, Let the order and the answer be accomplished.

And if they should say to him, You alone are ruler;

Sit down, you that are pierced with woe, go into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans; you shall no more be called the strength of a kingdom.

I have given the earth to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon to serve him, and the wild beasts of the field to labor for him.

For thus says the Lord: Behold, I [will] bring up against you, O Tyre, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon from the north: he is a king of kings, with horses, and chariots, and horsemen, and a concourse of very many nations.

Therefore shall they be delivered to the nations. Now I will receive them, and they shall cease a little to anoint a king and princes.

and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and who washed us from our sins in His own blood,

These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will conquer them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, and elect, and faithful."

and they shall drive you forth from men, and your dwelling shall be with the wild beasts, and they shall feed you with grass like an ox, and you shall have your lodging under the dew of heaven, and seven times shall pass over you, until you know that the Most High is Lord of the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever He chooses.

O king, the Most High God gave to your father Nebuchadnezzar a kingdom, and majesty, and honor, and glory.

Thus says Cyrus king of the Persians to all the kingdoms of the earth: The Lord God of heaven has given me [power], and He has commanded me to build a house to Him in Jerusalem, in Judea. Who [is there] among you of all His people? His God shall be with him, and let him go up.

Thus said Cyrus king of the Persians: The Lord God of heaven has given me all the kingdoms of the earth, and He has given me a command to build Him a house in Jerusalem that is in Judea.

By me kings reign, and princes decree justice.

For thus said the Lord: I have put a yoke of iron on the neck of all the nations, that they may serve the king of Babylon.

And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name having been written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

how great and mighty [they are]; His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and His power to all generations.

And at the end of the time, I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted up my eyes to heaven, and my reason returned to me, and I blessed the Most High, and praised Him that lives forever, and gave [Him] glory; for His dominion is an everlasting dominion, and His kingdom [lasts] to all generations.

God has spoken once, [and] I have heard these two things, that power is of God;

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil [one]. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

Jesus answered, "You would have no authority at all against Me unless it had been given to you from above. Therefore the one who betrayed Me to you has a greater sin."

"You are worthy, our Lord and God, the Holy [One], to receive the glory and the honor and the power; because You created all things, and by Your will they existed and they were created."

saying with a loud voice: "Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive the power and the wealth and wisdom and strength, and honor and glory and blessing!"
