And they gave him seventy [pieces] of silver out of the house of Baal-Berith; and Abimelech hired for himself vain and cowardly men, and they went after him.

Instruction is to them that use it a gracious reward; and wherever it may turn, it shall prosper.

Many court the favor of kings, but every bad man becomes a reproach to [another] man.

And he shall speak words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saints of the Most High, and shall think to change times and law. And [power] shall be given into his hand for a time, times and half a time.

so he eats and drinks as if anyone should swallow a hair, and do not bring him in to yourself, nor eat your morsel with him;

Thus says the Lord God: It shall also come to pass in that day, that thoughts shall rise up into your heart, and you shall devise an evil plan.

But Jesus, perceiving their thoughts, said, "Why do you think evil in your hearts?
