as I returned. And behold, on the brink of the river [there were] very many trees on this side and on that side.

The righteous shall flourish as a palmtree; he shall be increased as the cedar in Lebanon.

Your people also shall be all righteous; they shall inherit the land forever, preserving that which they have planted, [even] the works of their hands, for glory.

that there should be given to them that mourn in Zion glory instead of ashes, the oil of joy to the mourners, the garment of glory for the spirit of heaviness; and they shall be called generations of righteousness, the planting of the Lord for glory.

For it is moist under the sun, and his branch shall come forth out of his dung heap.

And he shall be as a tree planted by the brooks of waters, which shall yield its fruit in its season, and its leaf shall not fall off; and whatsoever he shall do shall prosper.

And he shall be as a thriving tree by the waters, and he shall cast forth his root toward a moist place. He shall not fear when heat comes, and there shall be shady branches upon him; he shall not fear in a year of drought, and he shall not fail to bear fruit.

From the feet to the head, there is no soundness in them; neither wound, nor bruise, nor festering ulcer [are healed]; it is not possible to apply a plaister, nor oil, nor bandages.

And is there no balm in Gilead, or is there no physician there? Why has not the healing of the daughter of my people taken place?

In the middle of its street, and on both sides of the river [was the] tree of life, producing twelve fruits, each yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree [are] for the healing of the nations.
