On the fifth day of the month; this was the fifth year of the captivity of King Jehoiachin.

And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the first month, on the seventh [day] of the month, the word of the Lord came to me, saying,

So the city was besieged, until the eleventh year of King Zedekiah,

on the ninth day of the month, and [then] the famine was severe in the city, and there was no bread for the people of the land.
