And the Lord testified against Israel and against Judah, even by the hand of all His prophets, [and] of every seer, saying, Turn from your evil ways, and keep My commandments and My ordinances, and all the law which I commanded your fathers, [and] all that I sent to them by the hand of My servants the prophets.

And they kept not any of His testimonies which He charged them; and they walked after vanities, and became vain, and after the nations round about them, concerning which the Lord had charged them not to do accordingly.

And they caused their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire, and practiced divinations and soothsaying, and sold themselves to work wickedness in the sight of the Lord, to provoke Him.

Even Judah as well kept not the commandments of the Lord their God, but they walked according to the customs of Israel which they practiced, and rejected the Lord.

Forasmuch as Israel revolted from the house of David, and they made Jeroboam the son of Nebat king; and Jeroboam drew Israel away from following the Lord, and led them to sin a great sin.

until the Lord removed Israel from His presence, as the Lord spoke by all His servants the prophets; and Israel was removed from off their land to the Assyrians to this day.

And the Lord God of their fathers sent by the hand of His prophets; rising early and sending His messengers, for He had compassion on His people, and His sanctuary.

Nevertheless they sneered at His messengers, and despised His words, and mocked His prophets, until the wrath of the Lord rose up against His people, till there was no remedy.

A reprover is better than a stiff-necked man, for when the latter is suddenly set on fire, there shall be no remedy.

Thus says the Lord concerning you the remnant of Judah: Enter not into Egypt, and now know for a certainty,

And you have not hearkened to the voice of the Lord, with which He sent me to you.

Yet I sent to you My servants the prophets early in the morning; and I sent, saying, Do not do this abominable thing which I hate.

But they hearkened not to Me, and inclined not their ear to turn from their wickedness, so as not to burn incense to strange gods.

But whatever city you enter, and they do not receive you, go out into its streets and say,

'The very dust from your city which clings to us we wipe off against you. Nevertheless know this, that the kingdom of God has drawn near to you.'

Now when both Silas and Timothy came down from Macedonia, Paul was compelled by the Spirit, solemnly bearing witness to the Jews that Jesus is the Christ.

But because they were opposing and blaspheming, he shook off his clothes and said to them, "Your blood [be] on your [own] heads; I am clean. From now on I will go to the Gentiles."

that no one should transgress against and to defraud his brother in this matter, because the Lord is the avenger concerning all, just as we told you before and solemnly testified.

On account of this we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away.

how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which in the beginning was spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard [Him],

See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape, having refused Him who warned [them], how much more [shall we not escape] if we turn away from Him who warns from heaven;

When I say to the wicked, You shall surely die; and you have not warned him, to give warning to the wicked, to turn from his ways, that he should live; that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at your hand.

in flaming fire, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

These shall pay a penalty--eternal destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His might,

For if we sin willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,

but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery zeal being about to devour the adversaries.

But if you warn the righteous not to sin, and he sin not, the righteous shall surely live, because you have warned him; and you shall deliver your own soul.

And though these three men should be in the midst of it, Noah, Daniel, and Job, they [alone] would be delivered by their righteousness, says the Lord.

and should Noah, Daniel, and Job be in the midst of it, [as] I live, says the Lord, there shall be left [them] neither sons nor daughters; [only] they by their righteousness shall deliver their souls.

Because he heard the sound of the trumpet, and took no heed, his blood shall be upon him. But the other, because he took heed, has delivered his soul.

But if you forewarn the wicked of his way, to turn from it, and he turn not from his way, he shall die in his ungodliness; but you have delivered your own soul.

Then I said, I have labored in vain, I have given my strength for vanity and for nothing; therefore is my judgment with the Lord, and my labor before my God.

And now thus says the Lord, who formed me from the womb to be His own servant, to gather Jacob to Him and Israel. I shall be gathered and glorified before the Lord, and my God shall be my strength.

And the Jews, seeing the crowds, they were filled with jealousy and spoke against the things being said by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming.

But Paul and Barnabas, speaking boldly said, "It was necessary for the word of God to be spoken to you first; but since you thrust it away, and judge yourselves not worthy of eternal life; behold, we turn to the Gentiles.

Therefore I testify to you this very day, that I am innocent of all blood.

For we are the fragrance of Christ to God among those being saved, and among those perishing.

For we are not as the rest, corrupting the word of God; but as of sincerity, but as from God, we speak in the sight of God in Christ.
