And Terah took Abram his son, and Lot his grandson, the son of Haran, and Sarai his daughter-in-law, the wife of Abram his son, and led them forth out of the land of the Chaldees, to go into the land of Canaan, and they came as far as Haran, and dwelt there.

And all the days of Terah in the land of Haran were two hundred and five years, and Terah died in Haran.

And Abram went as the Lord spoke to him, and Lot departed with him, and Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran.

Have any of the gods of the [other] nations delivered them, whom my fathers destroyed: Gozan and Haran and Rezeph and the sons of Eden who were in Telassar?

Have the gods of the nations which my fathers destroyed delivered them, [be it] Gozan, Haran, or Rezeph, which are in the land of Telassar?

Then he went forth from the land of the Chaldeans and settled down in Haran. And from there, after his father was dead, He moved him to this land in which you now dwell.

And the beginning of his kingdom was Babylon, Erech, Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.

The sons of Shem [were] Elam, Asshur, Arphaxad, Lud, Aram, and Cainan.

and though Beor should have a skillfully contrived hiding place, the Assyrians shall carry you away captive.

Yea, Assyria too has come with them; they have become a help to the children of Lot. Pause.

And it shall come to pass in that day that the Lord shall call for the flies, which shall rule over a part of the river of Egypt, and for the bee which is in the land of the Assyrians.

In that day the Lord shall shave with a hired razor the head of the king of Assyria beyond the river, and the hairs of the feet, and will remove the beard.
