Shall I in any way desire the death of the sinner, says he Lord, as I [desire] that he should turn from [his] evil way, and live?

He has not answered in anger from His heart, though He has brought low the children of a man.

The Lord does not delay concerning His promise, as some reckon slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
