And will you seek great things for yourself? Seek [them] not. For behold, I bring evil upon all flesh, says the Lord; but I will give [to you] your life for a prize in every place that you go.

For it is the day of judgment of the Lord, and the year of the recompense of Zion in judgment.

Hear the word of the Lord, you children of Israel: for the Lord [has] a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.

And the Lord [has] a controversy with Judah, in order to punish Jacob: according to His ways and according to His practices will He recompense him.

Hear, O you mountains, the controversy of the Lord, and you valleys; even the foundations of the earth: for the Lord has a controversy with His people, and will plead with Israel.

For with the fire of the Lord all the earth shall be judged, and all flesh with His sword; many shall be slain by the Lord.

And I will bring you into the wilderness of the nations, and will plead with you there face to face.

As I pleaded with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so will I judge you, says the Lord.

And I will judge him with pestilence, and blood, and sweeping rain, and hailstones; and I will rain upon him fire and brimstone, and upon all that are with him, and upon many nations with him.

I will also gather all the Gentiles, and bring them down to the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for My people and My heritage Israel, who have been dispersed among the Gentiles; and [these Gentiles] have divided My land,
