Pour out Your wrath upon the heathen that have not known You, and upon the kingdoms which have not called upon Your name.

For the Lord has chosen Jacob for Himself, [and] Israel for His peculiar treasure.

Pour out Your wrath upon the nations that have not known You, and upon the families that have not called upon Your name; for they have devoured Jacob, and consumed him, and have made his pasture desolate.

who in the generations having gone by permitted all the Gentiles to walk in their ways.

who are Israelites, of whom are the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the law-giving, and the worship, and the promises;

that at that time you were apart from Christ, being estranged from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise, not having hope and atheists in the world.

I became manifest to them that asked not for Me; I was found by them that sought Me not; I said, Behold, I am [here], to a nation who called not on My name.

that the remnant of men, and all the Gentiles upon whom My name is called, may earnestly seek Me, says the Lord who does all these things.

in order that the rest of men may seek out the LORD, and all the Gentiles who are called by My name, says the LORD who does all these things.'
