Awake, awake, Zion; put on your strength, O Zion; and put on your glory, O Jerusalem the holy city; for the uncircumcised and unclean shall pass through you no more.

Shake off the dust and arise; sit down, O Jerusalem; put off the band of your neck, captive daughter of Zion.

Thus let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works, and they may glorify your Father who is in heaven.

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light--

Therefore He says: "Awake, you who are sleeping, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you."

in order that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverted generation, among whom you shine as light bearers in the world,

And you shall no more have the sun for a light by day, nor shall the rising of the moon lighten your night; but the Lord shall be your everlasting light, and God your glory.

For the sun shall no more set, nor shall the moon be eclipsed; for the Lord shall be your everlasting light, and the days of your mourning shall be completed.

O people walking in darkness, behold a great light; you that dwell in the region [and] shadow of death, a light shall shine upon you.

the people sitting in darkness have seen a great light, and to those who sat in the land and the shadow of death, light sprang up on them."

through the tender mercy of our God, with which the Dayspring from on high has visited us;

to give light to them that sit in darkness and [in] the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace."

That was the true Light which lightens every man coming into the world.

And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness more than the light, because their works were evil.

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, "I am the light of the world. He that follows Me shall by no means walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

I have come as a light into the world, so that whoever believes in Me may not abide in darkness.

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light--

The city had no need of the sun nor of the moon to shine, for the very glory of God illuminated it, and its lamp is the Lamb.

And night shall not exist. and there [shall] not [be a] need of a lamp and of light, because the Lord God shall illuminate them. And they shall reign forever and ever.

But to you that fear My name shall the Sun of righteousness arise, and healing [shall be] in His wings: and you shall go forth, and bound as young calves let loose from bonds.

a light for a revelation to the Gentiles, and a glory to Your people Israel."

If you are reviled in the name of Christ, blessed are you, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On the one hand He is blasphemed, but on the other He is glorified.
