I have not spoken in secret, nor in a dark place of the earth; I said not to the seed of Jacob, Seek vanity; I, even I, am the Lord, speaking righteousness, and proclaiming truth.

And now, [my] son Solomon, know the God of your fathers, and serve Him with a perfect heart and a willing soul; for the Lord searches all hearts, and knows every thought: if you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you should forsake Him, He will forsake you forever.

Nevertheless [some] good things have been found in you, forasmuch as you did remove the groves from the land of Judah, and you directed your heart to seek after the Lord.

But you be early in prayer to the Lord Almighty.

The Lord looked down from heaven upon the sons of men, to see if there were any that understood, or sought after God.

My heart said to You, I have diligently sought Your face; Your face, O Lord, I will seek.

Therefore shall every holy one pray to You in a fit time; only in the deluge of many waters they shall not come near to Him.

For He is our God; and we are the people of His pasture, and the sheep of His hand.

And pray to Me, and I will hearken to you; and you shall earnestly seek Me, and you shall find Me;

And I will appear to you.

But seek the Lord, and you shall live; lest the house of Joseph blaze as fire, and it devour him, and there shall be none to quench it for the house of Israel.

Make friends with your adversary quickly, while you are on the road with him, lest your adversary hand you over to the judge, and the judge hand you over to the officer, and you be cast into prison.

"Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you.

For everyone that asks receives, and he that seeks finds, and to him that knocks, it shall be opened.

Afterward the remaining virgins came also, saying, 'Lord, Lord, open to us!'

"But he answered and said, 'Assuredly I say to you, I do not know you.'

When once the Master of the house has risen up and shuts the door, and you begin to stand outside and to knock at the door, saying, 'Lord, Lord, open for us,' and answering He will say to you, 'I do not know you, where you are from.'

Then Jesus said, "Yet a little while am I with you, and [then] I go to Him who sent Me.

You will seek Me and you will not find [Me], and where I am you cannot come."

Then Jesus said to them again, "I am going away, and you will seek Me, and will die in your sin. Where I go you cannot come."

Then Jesus said to them, "[For] yet a little while longer the light is with you. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you; he who walks in darkness does not know where he is going.

While you have the light, believe in the light, so that you may become sons of light." These things Jesus spoke, and departing, He was hidden from them.

And working together [with Him], we also urge that you not receive the grace of God in vain.

For He says: "In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in the day of salvation I have helped you." Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which in the beginning was spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard [Him],

but encourage yourselves every day, while it is called "Today," lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

Exalt and rejoice, you that dwell in Zion; for the Holy One of Israel is exalted in the midst of her.

I have brought near My righteousness, and I will not be slow with the salvation that is from Me; I have given salvation in Zion to Israel for glory.

For what manner of nation [is so] great, which has God so near to them as the Lord our God [is] in all things in whatsoever we may call upon Him?

For the end, Destroy not, A Psalm of a Song of Asaph. We will give thanks to You, O God, we will give thanks, and call upon Your name.

The Lord is near to all that call upon Him, to all that call upon Him in truth.

and He shall exalt the horn of His people, [there is] a hymn for all His saints, [even] of the children of Israel, a people who draw near to Him.

And He said to me, Son of man, have you seen what these [people] do? They commit great abominations here, so that I should keep away from My sanctuary; and you shall see even greater iniquities.

Therefore I beseech [you] not to lose heart at my tribulations on your behalf, which is your glory.
