And about sunset a trance fell upon Abram, and behold, a great gloomy terror fell upon him.

And the nation whom they shall serve I will judge; and after this, they shall come forth with much property.

And in the fourth generation they shall return here, for the sins of the Amorites are not yet filled up, even until now.

There failed not one of the good things which the Lord spoke to the children of Israel; all came to pass.

But I hasten to go the way [of death], as all that are upon the earth also [do.] And you know in your heart and in your soul, that not one word has fallen [to the ground] of all the words which the Lord our God has spoken respecting all that concerns us; there has not one of them failed.

And it shall come to pass, that as all the good things have come upon us which the Lord God [promised you, so shall] He bring upon you all the evil things, until He has destroyed you from off this good land, which the Lord has given you,

and he said, Blessed [be] the Lord God of Israel today, who spoke by His mouth concerning David my father, and has fulfilled it with his hands, saying,

And it was in the heart of my father to build a house to the name of the Lord God of Israel.

Nevertheless you shall not build the house, but your son that has proceeded out of your bowels, he shall build the house for My name.

But to his son I will give the two [remaining] tribes, that My servant David may have an establishment continually before Me in Jerusalem, the city which I have chosen for Myself, to put My name there.

Let them draw near, and declare to you what things shall come to pass; or tell [us] what things were of old, and we will apply [our] understanding, and we shall know what are the last and the future things;

tell us, declare to us the things that are coming on at the last [time], and we shall know that you are gods; do good, and do evil, and we shall wonder, and see at the same time

Behold, I [will] do new things, which shall presently spring forth, and you shall know them; and I will make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the dry land;

Who is like Me? Let him stand, and call, and declare, and prepare for Me from the time that I made man forever; and let them tell you the things that are coming before they arrive.

Hide not yourselves, nor go astray; have you not heard from the beginning, and [have] I [not] told you? You are witnesses if there is a God beside Me.

and remember the former things of old; for I am God, and there is none besides Me,

declaring beforehand the latter events before they come to pass, and they are accomplished together; and I said, all My counsel shall stand, and I will do all things that I have planned;

From now [on] I tell you before it happens, so that when it happens, you may believe that I AM.

"Known from everlasting to God are all His works.

Concerning this salvation the prophets have sought out and inquired carefully, having prophesied of the grace [that would come] to you,

To them it was revealed that, not to themselves, but to you they were ministering these things, which things were now announced to you by those who proclaimed the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven--things which angels desire to look into.

And we have the prophetic word made more sure, which you do well to heed, as a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts;

for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke, being brought along by [the] Holy Spirit.
