The vision of Egypt. Behold, the Lord sits on a swift cloud, and shall come to Egypt. And the idols of Egypt shall be moved at His presence, and their hearts shall faint within them.

Thus says the Lord: Heaven is My throne, and the earth is My footstool; what kind of a house will you build for Me? And of what kind [is to be] the place of My rest?

He that dwells in the heavens shall laugh them to scorn, and the Lord shall mock them.

The Lord will dwell on the waterflood; and the Lord will sit as king forever.

Sing to God that rides on the heaven of heavens, eastward: lo, He will utter a mighty sound with His voice.

since all the nations are counted as a drop from a bucket, and as the turning of a balance, [and] shall be counted as spittle?

and all the nations are as nothing, and counted as nothing.

And there we saw the giants; and we were as mere insects in our own sight, and so we were before them.

Thus says the Lord God, who made the heaven, and established it; who settled the earth, and the things in it, and gives breath to the people in it, and spirit to them that tread on it;

Thus says the Lord that redeems you, and who formed you from the womb: I am the Lord that performs all things; I stretched out the heaven alone, and established the earth.

And you have forgotten God who made you, who made the sky and founded the earth; and you were continually afraid because of the wrath of him that afflicted you; for [whereas] he counseled to take you away, yet now where is the wrath of him that afflicted you?

Who alone has stretched out the heavens, and walks on the sea as on firm ground.

Will you establish with Him foundations for the ancient heavens? They are [as] strong as a cast iron mirror.

Where were you when I founded the earth? Tell me now, if you have knowledge.

On what are its rings fastened? And who is He that laid the cornerstone upon it?

And I shut up the sea with gates, when it rushed out, coming forth out its mother's womb.

In the beginning You, O Lord, laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of Your hands.

They shall perish, but You remain; and [they all] shall grow old like a garment; and as a vesture shall You fold them, and they shall be changed.

who cover Yourself with light as with a garment; spreading out the heaven as a curtain.

It is the Lord that made the earth by His strength, who set up the world by His wisdom, and by His understanding stretched out the sky,

The burden of the word of the Lord for Israel. Thus says the Lord, that stretches out the sky, and lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him.

And: "You, LORD, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of Your hands.

and like a cloak You will roll them up, and they shall be changed. But You are the same, and Your years will not fail."
