And [Isaiah] said, Let them take a cake of figs, and lay it upon the ulcer, and he shall be well.

And when he had taken him aside from the crowd privately, He put His fingers in his ears, and having spit, He touched his tongue.

Having said these things, He spat on the ground and made clay from the saliva; and He applied the clay on the eyes of the blind [man].
