While I live will I praise the Lord: I will sing praises to my God as long as I exist.

Whatsoever your hand shall find to do, do with all your might; for there is no work nor device nor knowledge nor wisdom in Hades, where you are going.

I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work.

For I know that he will order his sons, and his house after him, and they will keep the ways of the Lord, to do justice and judgment, that the Lord may bring upon Abraham all things whatsoever He has spoken to him.

And it shall come to pass, if your sons say to you, What is this service?

That you shall say to them, This Passover is a sacrifice to the Lord, as He defended the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when He struck the Egyptians, but delivered our houses.

And if later on your son should ask you, saying, What is this? Then you shall say to him, With a strong hand the Lord brought us out of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

And when Pharaoh hardened [his heart so as not] to send us away, He slew every firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man and the firstborn of beast; therefore I sacrifice every [offspring] that opens the womb, the males to the Lord, and every firstborn of my sons I will redeem.

Take heed to yourself, and keep your heart diligently: forget not any of the things, which your eyes have seen, and let them not depart from your heart all the days of your life; and you shall teach your sons and your sons' sons,

And you shall teach them to your children, and you shall speak of them sitting in the house, and walking by the way, and lying down, and rising up.

saying, When your sons ask you, saying, What are these stones?

Tell your sons, that Israel went over this Jordan [River] on dry land,

All which we have heard and known, and our fathers have declared to us.

And He raised up a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which He commanded our fathers, to make it known to their children;

Generation after generation shall praise Your works, and tell of Your power.

Tell your children concerning them, and [let] your children [tell] their children, and their children another generation.
