There is no joy, says the Lord, for the ungodly.

But the unrighteous shall be tossed as troubled waves, and shall not be able to rest.

There is no peace, says God, for the wicked.

Therefore thus says the Lord: Behold, My servants shall eat, but you shall hunger; behold, My servants shall drink, but you shall thirst; behold, My servants shall rejoice, but you shall be ashamed;

For you shall leave your name for a loathing to My chosen, and the Lord shall destroy you; but My servants shall be called by a new name,

And he shall be as a tree planted by the brooks of waters, which shall yield its fruit in its season, and its leaf shall not fall off; and whatsoever he shall do shall prosper.

Therefore the ungodly shall not rise in the judgment, nor sinners in the counsel of the just.

The Lord tests the righteous and the ungodly: and he that loves unrighteousness hates his own soul.

He shall rain upon sinners snares, fire, and brimstone, and a stormy blast [shall be] the portion of their cup.

But it shall not be well with the ungodly, and he shall not prolong his days, [which are but] a shadow; forasmuch as he fears not before God.

Give them according to their works, and according to the wickedness of their endeavors; give them according to the works of their hands; render their recompense unto them.

and mercy is Yours, O Lord; for You will recompense everyone according to his works.

Therefore shall they eat the fruits of their own way, and shall be filled with their own ungodliness.

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, in accordance with the things which he did, whether good or bad.

For judgment is without mercy to the one who does not show mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

What should be given to you, and what should be added to you, for [your] crafty tongue?
