My sister, my spouse is a garden enclosed; a garden enclosed, a fountain sealed.

I made myself pools of water, to water from them the timber-bearing wood.

They shall be fully satisfied with the fatness of Your house; and You shall cause them to drink of the full stream of Your delights.

For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light we shall see light.

The flowings of the river gladden the city of God; the Most High has sanctified His tabernacle.

For My people have committed two evils: they have forsaken Me, the fountain of living waters, and hewn out for themselves broken cisterns, which will not be able to hold water.

O Lord, the hope of Israel, let all that have left You be ashamed, let them that have revolted be written on the earth, because they have forsaken the fountain of life, the Lord.

Jesus answered and said to her, "If you had known the gift of God, and who it is that says to you, 'Give Me a drink,' you would have asked Him, and He would have given to you living water."

but whoever drinks of the water which I shall give him will by no means ever thirst again. But the water which I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into eternal life."

He that believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his belly will flow rivers of living water."

And he showed me a pure river of water of life, bright as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb.

Therefore thus says the Lord: Inquire now among the nations, who has heard such horrible things as [what] the virgin of Israel has done?

Will fertilizing streams fail [to flow] from a rock, or snow [fail] from Lebanon? Will water violently impelled by the wind turn aside?
