The Lord appeared to him from afar, [saying], I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn you.

When men were destroyed, I drew them with the bands of My love: and I will be to them as a man smiting [another] on his cheek: and I will have regard for him, [and] I will prevail with him.

No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me should draw him; and I will raise him up at the last day.

And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all [peoples] to Myself."

So then, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;

for it is God who is working in you, both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

I ran the way of Your commandments, when You enlarged my heart.

I prepared myself, (and was not terrified) to keep Your commandments.

So therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every impediment, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,

As the apple among the trees of the wood, so is my kinsman among the sons. I desired his shadow, and sat down, and his fruit was sweet in my throat.

Strengthen me with perfumes, stay me with apples: for I am wounded with love.

It [was] as a little [while] after I parted from them, that I found him whom my soul loves: I held him, and did not let him go, until I brought him into my mother's house, and into the chamber of her that conceived me.

in embroidered [clothing]; virgins shall be brought to the king after her; her fellows shall be brought to You.

They shall be brought with gladness and exaltation; they shall be led into the king's temple.

"But as they went away to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut.

In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and I will receive you unto Myself; so that where I am, there you may be also.

and raised us up together, and seated us together in the heavenlies in Christ Jesus,

Shout to God, all the earth! Sing and rejoice, and sing psalms!

With trumpets, and with the sound of a horn, make a joyful noise to the Lord before the king.

The rivers shall clap their hands together; the mountains shall exalt.

Let Israel rejoice in Him that made him; and let the children of Zion exalt in their King.

Death has prevailed and swallowed [men] up; but again the Lord God has taken away every tear from every face. He has taken away the reproach of [His] people from all the earth; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken it.

By the Lord shall they be justified, and in God shall all the seed of the children of Israel be glorified.

that there should be given to them that mourn in Zion glory instead of ashes, the oil of joy to the mourners, the garment of glory for the spirit of heaviness; and they shall be called generations of righteousness, the planting of the Lord for glory.

Rejoice, O daughter of Zion; cry aloud, O daughter of Jerusalem; rejoice and delight yourself with all your heart, O daughter of Jerusalem.

Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; proclaim it aloud, O daughter of Jerusalem; behold, your King is coming to you, righteous, and [your] Savior; He is meek and riding on a donkey, a young foal of a donkey.

Then the angel said to them, "Fear not, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people.

For we are the [true] circumcision, worshipping by the Spirit of God, rejoicing in Christ Jesus, and having no confidence in the flesh,

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!

Whom not having seen, you love, in whom now not seeing, but believing, you rejoice with inexpressible joy and glorified,

Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth: for your breasts are better than wine.

I remembered these things, and poured out my soul in me, for I will go to the place of Your wondrous tabernacle, [even] to the house of God, with a voice of exaltation and thanksgiving and of the sound of those who keep festival.

We have thought of Your mercy, O God, in the midst of Your people.

Let my soul be filled as with marrow and fatness; and [my] joyful lips shall praise Your name.

[A Psalm] of David. Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all [that is] within me, [bless] His holy name.

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His praises;

He has caused His wonderful works to be remembered; the Lord is merciful and compassionate.

I remembered the mercy of the Lord, the praises of the Lord in all things in which He recompenses us. The Lord is a good judge to the house of Israel; He deals with us according to His mercy, and according to the abundance of His righteousness.

And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, "This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me."

For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered unto you: that the Lord Jesus, during the night in which He was betrayed, took bread;

Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me."

And the smell of your ointments is better than all spices: your name is ointment poured forth; therefore do the young maidens love you.

So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, [son] of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?" He said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I care for You." He said to him, "Feed My lambs."

He said to him the third time, "Simon, [son] of Jonah, do you care for Me?" Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, "Do you care for Me?" And he said to Him, "Lord, You know all things; You know that I care for You." Jesus said to him, "Feed My sheep.
