All [go] to one place; all were formed of the dust, and all will return to dust.

[ 3:20] In the sweat of your face shall you eat your bread until you return to the ground out of which you were taken, for dust you are, and to dust you shall return.

And Abraham answered and said, Now I have begun to speak to my Lord, and I am [but] dust and ashes.

But as [for] them that dwell in houses of clay, of whom we also are formed of the same clay, He smites them like a moth.

And from the morning to evening they no longer exist- they have perished, because they cannot help themselves.

Why have You not forgotten my iniquity, and purged my sin? But now I shall depart to the earth, and in the morning I am no more.

His bones have been filled with the [vigor of] his youth, and it shall lie down with him in the dust.

For if He would confine, and restrain His Spirit with Himself;

all flesh would die together, and every mortal would return to the earth, from where he was formed.

Turn not man back to [his] low place, whereas You said, Return, you sons of men?

His breath shall go forth, and he shall return to his earth; in that day all his thoughts shall perish.

And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to reproach and everlasting shame.

And who has seen the spirit of the sons of men, whether it goes upward? And the spirit of the beast, whether it goes downward to the earth?

And God formed the man of the dust of the earth, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul.

And they fell on their faces, and said, O God, the God of spirits and of all flesh, if one man has sinned, [shall] the wrath of the Lord [be] upon the whole congregation?

Let the Lord God of spirits and of all flesh look out for a man over this congregation,

I will not take vengeance on you forever, neither will I be always angry with you; for My Spirit shall go forth from Me, and I have created all breath.

And the king swore to him, saying, [As] the Lord lives who gave us this soul, I will not slay you, neither will I give you into the hands of these men.

The burden of the word of the Lord for Israel. Thus says the Lord, that stretches out the sky, and lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him.

Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we respected [them]. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live?

to the general assembly and church of the firstborn having been enrolled in [the] heavens, to God the Judge of all, and to spirits of just men made perfect,
