And I looked on all my works which my hands had done, and on my labor which I labored to perform, and behold, all was vanity and grasping for the wind, and there is no advantage under the sun.

For [God] has given wisdom, knowledge, and joy to the man who is good in His sight, but He has given to the sinner trouble, to add and to heap up, that He may give to him that is good before God; for this is also vanity and grasping for the wind.

Come to Me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest.

For we know that all the creation groans together and labors in birth together until now.

And not only that, but also [we] ourselves having the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting adoption, the redemption of our body.

So I returned, and saw all the oppressions that were done under the sun. And behold, the tears of the oppressed, and they had no comforter; and on the side of them that oppressed them was power; but they had no comforter.

Better also than both these is he who has not yet been, who has not seen all the evil work that is done under the sun.

[That which is] far beyond what was, and a great depth, who shall find it out?

And I find her [to be], and I will pronounce [to be] more bitter than death, the woman which is a snare, and her heart nets, [who has] a band in her hands. [He that is] good in the sight of God shall be delivered from her; but the sinner shall be caught by her.

There is one [alone], and there is not a second; yea, he has neither son nor brother: yet there is no end to all his labor; neither is his eye satisfied with wealth. And for whom do I labor, and deprive my soul of good? This is also vanity, and an evil trouble.

He that loves silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he who has loved gain, in the abundance thereof. This also is vanity.

In the multitude of good they are increased that eat it, and what virtue has the owner, but the right of beholding [it] with his eyes?

Let my soul be filled as with marrow and fatness; and [my] joyful lips shall praise Your name.

Hell and destruction are not filled, neither are the eyes of men ever satisfied. [ 27:20A] He that fixes his eye is an abomination to the Lord, and the uninstructed do not restrain their tongue.

The leech had three dearly beloved daughters, and these three did not satisfy her; and the fourth was not contented so as to say, Enough.

The grave, and the love of a woman, and the earth not filled with water; water also and fire will not say, It is enough.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled.

They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; nor shall the sun by any means strike them, nor any scorching heat;

because the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne shepherds them, and He leads them to [the] springs of [the] waters of life. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."
