Take hold of my instruction; do not let it go, but keep it for yourself, for your life.

So you shall keep all My ordinances, and all My judgments, and do them; which if a man shall do, he shall live in them: I [am] the Lord your God.

Give heed with your ears, and follow My ways; hearken to Me, and your soul shall live in prosperity; and I will make with you an everlasting covenant, the sure mercies of David.

For I have not spoken on My own [authority]; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak.

And I know that His command is eternal life. Therefore, whatever I speak, as the Father has said to Me, thus I speak."

He that has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me shall be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will manifest Myself to him."

You are My friends if you do what I command you.

Now by this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments.

He who says, "I have come to know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

Everyone that believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone that loves Him that begot also loves him that is begotten of Him.

For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome,

Blessed are those who do His commandments, so that their right shall be to the tree of life, and they may enter by the gates into the city.

He maintained him in the wilderness, in burning thirst and a dry land: He led him about and instructed him, and kept him as the apple of [His] eye.

Keep me as the apple of Your eye from those that resist Your right hand; You shall screen me by the covering of Your wings,

For thus says the Lord Almighty; After the glory has he sent Me to the nations that spoiled you: for he that touches you is as one that touches the apple of His eye.
