[My] son, let not ungodly men lead you astray, neither shall you consent [to them].

go not in the way with them, let your foot turn aside from their paths:

[then] good counsel shall guard you, and holy understanding shall keep you;

to deliver you from the evil way, and from the man that speaks nothing faithfully.

Forsake folly, that you may reign forever; and seek wisdom, and improve understanding by knowledge.

If you walk with wise men you shall be wise, but he that walks with fools shall be known.

Blessed is the man who has not walked in the counsel of the ungodly, and has not stood in the way of sinners, and has not sat in the seat of evil men.

I have not sat with the council of vanity, and shall by no means enter in with transgressors.

I have hated the assembly of evildoers; and will not sit with the ungodly.

Do not be deceived: "Evil associations corrupts good habits."
