But draw nearby, you lawless children, the seed of adulterers and the harlot.

These are all the things they have spoken against you in a proverb, saying,

Your elder sister who dwells on your left hand is Samaria, she and her daughters: and your younger sister, that dwells on your right hand, is Sodom and her daughters.

And you, fill up then, the measure of your fathers' guilt.

They answered and said to Him, "Abraham is our father." Jesus said to them, "If you were Abraham's children, you would do the works of Abraham.

You are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father you desire to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has not stood in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he tells a lie, he speaks from his own [resources], for he is a liar, and the father of lies.

Yea, they are insatiable dogs, that know not what it is to be filled, and they are wicked, having no understanding; all have followed their own ways, each according to his [will].

He has chosen the Canaanites: they have grievously gone a-whoring: they have loved dishonor through her insolence.

They prepare their hands for mischief, the prince asks a [reward], and the judge speaks flattering words; it is the desire of their soul;

For such [people] do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and through smooth speech and flattering, they deceive the hearts of the innocent.

And by covetousness they will exploit you with fabricated words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction will not sleep.

receiving the wages of unrighteousness, counting as a pleasure to revel in the daytime, [they are] spots and blemishes, reveling in their deceptions while they feast with you,

They have left behind the straight way and gone astray, having followed after the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;

Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, and in the error of Balaam they have rushed for profit, and have perished in the rebellion of Korah.

These are stains in your love feasts, while they feast [with you] without fear, caring for themselves, they are waterless clouds being carried along by winds; late autumn trees unfruitful, twice having died, having been uprooted,

By three things the earth is troubled, and for four it cannot bear:

And there are four very little things upon the earth, but these are wiser than the wise:

And there are three things which go well, and a fourth which passes along finely:

For he rejoices in all things which God hates, and he is ruined by reason of impurity of soul.

And the Lord said, For three sins of Damascus, and for four, I will not turn away from it, because they sawed with iron saws the women with child of the Gileadites.

Thus says the Lord; For three sins of Gaza, and for four, I will not turn away from them, because they took prisoners the captivity of Solomon, to shut [them] up into Edom.

Thus says the Lord; For three transgressions of Tyre, and for four, I will not turn away from it, because they shut up the prisoners of Solomon into Edom, and remembered not the covenant of brethren.

Thus says the Lord; For three sins of the children of Ammon, and for four, I will not turn away from him, because they ripped up the women with child of the Gileadites, that they might widen their coasts.

Thus says the Lord; For three sins of Moab, and for four, I will not turn away from it, because they burnt the bones of the king of Edom to lime.

Thus says the Lord; For three sins of the children of Judah, and for four, I will not turn away from him, because they have rejected the law of the Lord, and have not kept His ordinances, and their vain [idols] which they made, which their fathers followed, caused them to err.
