I have seen a man who seemed to himself to be wise; but a fool had more hope than he.

Woe [to them] that are wise in their own conceit, and knowing in their own sight.

For I do not desire you to be ignorant, brothers, of this mystery, lest you be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.

Be of the same mind toward one another. Not minding the high things, but associating with the humble. Do not become wise in your own opinion.

The commandment of the Lord is a fountain of life, and it causes men to turn aside from the snare of death.

There was a certain man in the land of Uz, whose name [was] Job; and that man was true, blameless, righteous, and godly, abstaining from everything evil.

And He said to man, Behold, godliness is wisdom: and to abstain from evil is understanding.

Come, you children, hear me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord.

Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking guile.
