Whenever you walk, lead this along and let it be with you, that it may talk with you when you wake.

And I will give peace in your land, and you shall sleep, and none [shall] make you afraid; and I will destroy the evil beasts out of your land,

I laid down and slept; I awoke, for the Lord will help me.

I will both lie down in peace and sleep; for You alone, O Lord, have caused me to dwell securely.

Behold, He that keeps Israel shall not slumber nor sleep.

The sun shall not burn you by day, neither the moon by night.

I will feed My sheep, and I will cause them to rest; and they shall know that I am the Lord; thus says the Lord God.

It is vain for you to rise early; you rise up after resting, you that eat the bread of grief; while He gives sleep to His beloved.

Therefore I awoke, and beheld; and my sleep was sweet to me.

But when Herod was about to bring him forth, on that night Peter was sleeping, between two soldiers, having been bound with two chains; and guards before the door were keeping the prison.

Now we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, concerning those who have died, lest you be sorrowful as those who have no hope.

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose [again], thus also God will bring with Him those who die in Jesus.
