He that walks simply, walks confidently, but he that perverts his ways shall be known.

When the storm passes by, the ungodly vanishes away; but the righteous turns aside and escapes forever.

When a just man dies he leaves regret, but the destruction of the ungodly is speedy, and causes joy.

Righteousness traces out blameless paths, but ungodliness encounters unjust dealing.

The harmless and upright joined themselves to me; for I waited for You, O Lord.

But I have walked in my innocence; redeem me, and have mercy upon me.

For the Lord loves mercy and truth; God will give grace and glory; the Lord will not withhold good things from them that walk in innocence.

But when I saw that they did not act rightly with respect to the truth of the gospel, I said to Peter before them all, "If you, being a Jew, live in Gentile fashion and not in Jewish fashion, why do you compel the Gentiles to live as Jews?

A poor man walking in truth is better than a rich liar.

And the Angel of the Lord said to him, Why have you struck your donkey this third time? And behold, I came out to withstand you, for your way is unseemly before Me. And when the donkey saw Me, she turned away from Me this third time.

Surely You have appointed [judgments] to them because of their crafty dealings; You have cast them down when they were lifted up.

As the dream of one awakening, O Lord, in Your city You will despise their image.

But them that turn aside to crooked ways the Lord will lead away with the workers of iniquity; [but] peace [shall be] upon Israel.

For when they say, "Peace and safety!" then sudden destruction comes upon them, just as labor pains upon the woman that is pregnant, and they shall by no means escape.

But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master, the [One] having bought them, and bringing upon themselves swift destruction.

And by covetousness they will exploit you with fabricated words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction will not sleep.

Remember therefore how you have received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you like a thief, and by no means shall you know what hour I will come upon you.
