[ 24:7A] but deliberate in council. [ 24:9] Death befalls uninstructed [men].

so he eats and drinks as if anyone should swallow a hair, and do not bring him in to yourself, nor eat your morsel with him;

[ 6:6] And the Lord God, having seen that the wicked actions of men were multiplied upon the earth, and that everyone in his heart was intently brooding over evil continually,

And the Lord God smelled an aroma of sweetness, and the Lord God having considered, said, I will never again curse the earth, because of the works of men, because the imagination of man is intently bent upon evil things from his youth, I will never again smite all living flesh as I have done.

I have hated transgressors; but I have loved Your law.

let the ungodly leave his ways, and the transgressor his counsels; and let him return to the Lord, and he shall find mercy; for He shall abundantly pardon your sins.

Cleanse your heart from wickedness, O Jerusalem, that you may be saved; how long will your grievous thoughts be within you?

But I say to you, that whoever looks at a woman in order to lust after her has already committed adultery [with] her in his heart.

But Jesus, perceiving their thoughts, said, "Why do you think evil in your hearts?

For out of the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.

Repent therefore from this your wickedness, and make petition to God, if perhaps the intent of your heart will be forgiven you.

casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ,

Cast out a pestilent person from the council, and strife shall go out with him; for when he sits in the council he dishonors all.

Lawless men burn down a city, but wise men turn away wrath.
