And she said, I pray you, let me glean and gather among the sheaves after the reapers. And she came and stood from morning till evening, and rested not, [even] a little, in the field.

And it shall come to pass that he that survives in your house will come and bow down before him for a little piece of silver, saying, Put me into one of your priest's offices to eat bread.

And one of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried to Elisha, saying, Your servant my husband is dead; and you know that your servant feared the Lord; and the creditor has come to take my two sons to be his servants.

And Elisha said, What shall I do for you? Tell me what you have in the house. And she said, Your servant has nothing in the house, except oil that I anoint myself with.

For all these things are Mine, says the Lord; and to whom will I have respect, but to the humble and meek, and the [man] that trembles [at] My words?

"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Let the lowly brother rejoice in his exaltation,

For the sun arose with burning heat and withered the grass, and its flower fell off, and its beautiful appearance perished. So the rich man also shall fade away in his pursuits.

And when Joseph saw his brothers, he knew them, and estranged himself from them, and spoke harsh words to them; and said to them, Where do you come from? And they said, Out of the land of Canaan, to buy food.

The man, the lord of the land, spoke harsh words to us, and put us in prison as spies of the land.

And Pharaoh said, Who is He that I should listen to His voice, so that I should send away the children of Israel? I do not know the Lord, and I will not let Israel go.

And Nabal sprang up, and answered the servants of David, and said, Who is David? And who is the son of Jesse? Nowadays there are an abundance of servants who depart, everyone from his master.

And now consider what you will do; for mischief is determined against our lord and against his house; and he is a vile character, and one cannot speak to him.

and you have respect for him that wears the fine clothes and you say to him, "You sit here in a good seat," and say to the poor man, "You stand there," or, "Sit here under my footstool,"
