A passionate man acts inconsiderately, but a sensible man bears up under many things.

He that has found favor with the Lord is [made] better, but a transgressor shall be passed over in silence.

For the counsel of the wicked will devise iniquity, to destroy the poor with unjust words, and ruin the cause of the poor in judgment.

But the godly have devised wise [measures], and this counsel shall stand.

All the ways of the Lord are mercy and truth to them that seek His covenant and His testimonies.

He shall endure forever before God. Which of them shall seek out His mercy and truth?

Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.

For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came to be through Jesus Christ.
