For the terror of which I meditated has come upon me, and that which I had feared has befallen me.

And his terror is in his ears: just when he seems to be at peace, his overthrow will come.

but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery zeal being about to devour the adversaries.

You have granted him the desire of his soul, and have not withheld from him the request of his lips. Pause.

Delight [yourself] in the Lord, and He shall grant you the desires of your heart.

He will perform the desire of them that fear Him: and He will hear their supplication, and save them.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled.

I will not leave you orphans; I am coming to you.

Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.

And this is the confidence that we have toward Him, that if we should ask anything according to His will, He hears us.

And if we know that He hears us, whatever we may ask, we know that we have the requests that we have requested from Him.
