Out of the fruit of righteousness grows a tree of life, but the souls of transgressors are cut off before their time.

Woe to their soul, for they have devised an evil counsel against themselves, saying against themselves, Let us bind the just, for he is burdensome to us; therefore shall they eat the fruits of their works.

Woe to the transgressor! Evils shall happen to him according to the works of his hands.

Work not for the food which perishes, but for the food which abides unto everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give to you; for [upon] Him God the Father has set [His] seal."

So then, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for what a man sows, this also he will reap.

And while we do good, let us not lose heart, for in due season we shall reap if we do not become weary.

For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

Thus every good tree produces good fruit, but a rotten tree produces evil fruit.

A good tree cannot produce evil fruit, nor can a rotten tree produce good fruit.

"Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree rotten and its fruit rotten; for a tree is known by its fruit.

Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

For out of the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.

For the wages of sin [is] death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

And their word will spread like gangrene; of whom are Hymenaeus and Philetus,

who have strayed concerning the truth, asserting that the resurrection has already occurred; and they overturn the faith of some.

But evil men and impostors shall advance worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.
