There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the division of Abijah. His wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth.

of Judah, Nahshon the son of Amminadab;

And they that encamp first toward the east [shall be] the order of the camp of Judah with their army, and the prince of the sons of Judah, Nahshon the son of Amminadab.

Hezron begot Ram; and Ram begot Amminadab.

And Aminadab begot Nahshon; and Nahshon begot Salmon.

And Ram begot Amminadab, and Amminadab begot Nahshon, chief of the house of Judah.

Ram begot Amminadab, Amminadab begot Nahshon, and Nahshon begot Salmon.

And to Moses he said, Go up to the Lord, you and Aaron and Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel: and they shall worship the Lord from a distance.

And Moses went up, and Aaron, and Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel.

And the two sons of Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, took each his censer, and put fire in it, and threw incense on it, and offered strange fire before the Lord, which the Lord did not command them,

and fire came forth from the Lord, and devoured them, and they died before the Lord.

And these [are] the names of the sons of Aaron: Nadab the firstborn; and Abiud, Eleazar and Ithamar.

And Nadab and Abiud died before the Lord, when they offered strange fire before the Lord, in the Wilderness of Sinai; and they had no children; and Eleazar and Ithamar ministered in the priests' office with Aaron their father.

Take Aaron, and Eleazar his son, and bring them up to Mount Hor before all the congregation;

And to Aaron were born both Nadab and Abiud, and Eleazar, and Ithamar.

And Nadab and Abiud died when they offered strange fire before the Lord in the Wilderness of Sinai.

And the children of Amram [were] Aaron, Moses, and Miriam. And the sons of Aaron [were] Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

And [they numbered] the sons of Aaron in [their] division, Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

And Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and they had no sons, so Eleazar and Ithamar the sons of Aaron ministered as priests.
