And He gave to Moses when He left off speaking to him in Mount Sinai the two tablets of the Testimony, tablets of stone written with the finger of God.

And the tablets were the work of God, and the writing [was] the writing of God written on the tablets.

And when he drew near to the camp, he saw the calf and the dances; and Moses, being very angry, cast the two tablets out of his hands and broke them to pieces under the mountain.

At that time the Lord said to me, Hew for yourself two stone tablets like the first, and come up to Me into the mountain, and you shall make for yourself an ark of wood.
