And God led them in the day by a pillar of cloud, to show them the way, and in the night by a pillar of fire.

And the pillar of cloud failed not by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, before all the people.

He spoke to them in a pillar of cloud; they kept His testimonies, and the ordinances which He gave them.

And the Lord spoke to Moses face to face, as if one should speak to his friend; and he retired into the camp: but his servant Joshua the son of Nun, a young man, did not depart from the tabernacle.

And I will make Myself known to you from there, and I will speak to you from above the mercy seat between the two cherubim, which are upon the Ark of Testimony, even in all things which I shall charge you concerning the children of Israel.

And He gave to Moses when He left off speaking to him in Mount Sinai the two tablets of the Testimony, tablets of stone written with the finger of God.

And let no one go up with you, nor be seen in all the mountain; and let not the sheep and oxen feed near that mountain.

and said, If I have found grace in Your sight, let my Lord go with us; for the people are stiff-necked: and You shall take away our sins and our iniquities, and we will be Yours.

And He left off speaking with him, and God went up from Abraham.

And the Lord departed, when He left off speaking to Abraham, and Abraham returned to his place.

And I will go down, and speak there with you; and I will take of the spirit that is upon you, and will put it upon them; and they shall bear together with you the burden of the people, and you shall not bear them alone.

And the hand of the Lord came upon me; and He said to me, Arise, and go forth into the plain, and there shall you be spoken to.
