And Moses laid up the rods before the Lord in the tabernacle of witness.

And it came to pass on the next day, that Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of witness; and behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi blossomed, and put forth a bud, and bloomed blossoms and produced almonds.

And Moses brought forth all the rods from before the Lord to all the sons of Israel; and they looked, and each one took his rod.
2 Chronicles 26:18-21

And they withstood Uzziah the king, and said to him, [It is] not for you, Uzziah, to burn incense to the Lord, but only for the priests, the sons of Aaron, who are consecrated to sacrifice: Leave the sanctuary, for you have departed from the Lord; and this shall not be for glory to you from the Lord God.

And Uzziah was angry, and in his hand [was] the censer to burn incense in the temple. And when he was angry with the priests, then the leprosy rose up in his forehead before the priests in the house of the Lord, over the altar of incense.

And Uzziah the king was a leper to the day of his death, and he dwelt [as] a leper in a separate house; for he was cut off from the house of the Lord; and Jotham his son [was set] over his kingdom, judging the people of the land.
Hebrews 5:1-5

For every high priest taken from among men is appointed for men in the things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins,

being able to deal gently with those who sin in ignorance and go astray, since he himself is also subject to weakness.

On account of this he is obligated to offer for sins, just as concerning the people, so also concerning himself.

And no man takes this honor for himself, but he that is called by God, just as Aaron also [was].
