as the Lord commanded Moses. And Aaron laid it up before the testimony to be kept.

in the tabernacle of the testimony, outside the veil that is before the [ark of the] Covenant, shall Aaron and his sons burn it from evening until morning, before the Lord- it is a perpetual ordinance throughout your generations of the children of Israel.

And you shall set it before the veil that is over the ark of the Testimony, wherein I will make Myself known to you from there.

And of these you shall beat some very fine, and you shall put it before the testimonies in the tabernacle of testimony, from where I will make Myself known to you: it shall be to you a most holy incense.

And He gave to Moses when He left off speaking to him in Mount Sinai the two tablets of the Testimony, tablets of stone written with the finger of God.

And Moses turned and went down from the mountain, and the two tablets of the Testimony were in his hands, tablets of stone written on both their sides: they were written within and without.

Now when Moses came down from the mountain ([there were] two tablets in Moses' hand as he came down from the mountain), Moses knew not that the appearance of the skin of his face was glorified, when God spoke to him.

He made the pins of the tabernacle and the pins of the court of brass.

And you shall put them in the tabernacle of witness, before the testimony, where I will be made known to you.

And I shall write upon the tablets the words which were on the first tablets which you broke, and you shall put them into the ark.

And He wrote upon the tablets according to the first writing, the Ten Commandments, which the Lord spoke to you in the mountain out of the midst of the fire, and the Lord gave them to me.

Take the book of this law, and you shall put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God; and it shall be there among you for a testimony.

There was nothing in the ark except the two tablets of stone, the tablets of the covenant which Moses put [there] in Horeb, which [tablets] the Lord made [as a covenant] with the children of Israel in their going forth from the land of Egypt.

And he brought forth the king's son, and put the crown on him and [gave him] the Testimony; and they made him king, and anointed him, and they clapped [their] hands and said, Long live the king!

And when they brought forth the money that had been brought into the house of the Lord, Hilkiah the priest found [the] Book of the Law of the Lord [given] by the hand of Moses.

Then Hilkiah answered and said to Shaphan the scribe, I have found [the] Book of the Law in the house of the Lord. And Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan.

"The tabernacle of the testimony was with our fathers in the wilderness, just as the One speaking to Moses commanded him, to make it according to the pattern that he had seen,

Much in every way! First of all, that they were entrusted with the oracles of God.

having a golden altar, and the ark of the covenant having been overlaid on all sides with gold, in which [were] a golden jar having the manna, and the rod of Aaron which budded, and the tablets of the covenant;
