You shall be blessed beyond all nations; there shall not be among you an impotent or barren one, or among your livestock.

Blessed shall be the offspring of your body, and the fruits of your land, and the herds of your oxen, and the flocks of your sheep.

Their cow does not cast her calf, and their [beast] with young is safe, and does not miscarriage.

And He blesses them, and they multiply exceedingly, and He diminishes not the number of their cattle.

Their garners are full, and bursting with one kind of store after another; their sheep are prolific, multiplying in their streets.

The year is completed, and you have brought all the produce into the storehouses; but there shall be the plunder thereof in its house: return now on this behalf, says the Lord Almighty, [see] if I will not open to you the torrents of heaven, and pour out My blessing upon you, until you are satisfied.

And I will appoint food for you, and I will not destroy the fruit of your land; and your vine in the field shall not fail, says the Lord Almighty.

Then Abraham breathed his last, and died in a good old age, an old man and full of days, and was added to his people.

And Isaac gave up the ghost and died, and was gathered to his people, old and full of days; and Esau and Jacob his sons buried him.

And David was old and full of days, and he made Solomon his son king over Israel in his place.

And you shall come to the grave like ripe grain reaped in its season, or as a sheaf of grain collected in its season.

And Job died, an old man and full of days: [ 42:17A] and it is written that he will rise again with those whom the Lord raises up. And he himself was the son of his father Zare, one of the sons of Esau, and of his mother Bosorrha, so that he was the fifth from Abraham. [ 42:17D] And these were the kings who reigned in Edom, which country he also ruled over: first, Balak, the son of Beor, and the name of his city was Dennaba: but after Balak, Jobab, who is called Job, and after him Asom, who was governor out of the country of Teman: and after him Adad, the son of Barad, who destroyed Midian in the plain of Moab; and the name of his city was Gethaim. [ 42:17E] And his friends who came to him were Eliphaz, of the children of Esau, king of the Thaemanites, Bildad sovereign of the Sauchaeans, and Zophar king of the Minaeans.

But You, O God, shall bring them down to the pit of destruction; bloody and crafty men shall not live out half their days; but I will hope in You, O Lord.

[As for] the days of our years, in them are seventy years; and if [men should be] in strength, eighty years; and the greater part of them would be labor and trouble; for weakness overtakes us, and we shall be chastened.

Neither shall there be there anymore a [child that dies] untimely, or an old man who shall not complete his time; for the youth shall be a hundred years [old], and the sinner who dies at a hundred years shall also be accursed;
